Studio Twenty Seven Architecture to assist in creating new villages in Haiti

sketch.jpg
Helping Haitian Angels is working with Studio Twenty Seven Architecture to design a prototypical orphanage complex in Haiti. HHA is undertaking a long term master plan to build five of these villages over the next ten years to support orphans throughout Haiti. The charity is procuring twelve hectares in the northwestern part of the county and is building a school, church, and ten residences. Groundbreaking is scheduled for July 22, 2012, the fourth anniversary of the founding of Helping Haitian Angels and the adoption of the first orphans. All aspects of the community will be fully sustainable, and construction methodologies will be based on regional material and support local labor sources.
