Studio Twenty Seven Architecture, along with design build team leader Forrester Construction Company, will soon start work with the Maya Angelou School on a complete renovation of their existing facility. Maya Angelou School and the See Forever Foundation currently occupy the one hundred and fifteen thousand square foot Bruce Evans School in Southeast DC. The fifty year old school is in need of a complete renovation. The mission of the See Forever Foundation is to create learning communities in lower income urban areas where all students, particularly those who have not succeeded in traditional schools, can reach their potential and prepare for college, a career, and a lifetime of success.
