This house is a thought experiment, one in the search for a universal "M" Theory of Phenomenological Architecture. In the same way that physicists are working on an "M" theory to unite the different branches of String Theory, we are seeking an Architectural "M" Theory to unite the phenomenon of space at all scales. The form of the house is changing, undefined. Determined by the reference of the viewer, its projections and shadows alter and reverse. Symmetrically in balance with its quantified surrounding space, the membrane of the house is plastic. Diffraction on the membrane reveals the spectrum of the light and defines the limits of the structure. The interior is fragrant with the perspiration of competing colors.
