Developed by a consortium of doctors, Bayview is a new building designed to service professional medical suites. The office park in which the building is located has strict design guidelines limiting material palettes and forms. The guidelines leaned toward a more traditional architectural ethic.

Brick is the majority building material and aluminum panels are introduced as an accent material. The brick is detailed with recessed lines around the windows. Cream colored brick was chosen for the entrances. The lower level corners are cut away and filled with glass. This lightens the block and creates opportunities for storefront for smaller retail tenants.

The clean precise functional lines of medical equipment was the metaphor for the design of the building.

The introduction of a skylight on the second level captures daylighting in the main corridor.
