How do you build a booleaned ellipsoid monocoque form?

As our Union Station bus deck pavilions near completion, we’ve been documenting and reviewing our design and implementation process for this unique project. This research explains our design process and the merits and faults of different strategies for building a small scale, economical, digitally derived project. In the end Studio Twenty Seven chose a construction system that would allow us to collaborate with regionally available fabricators, as opposed to a system that would require costly internationally sourced, specialized industries for project fulfillment.
