Ground Breaking for Gallaudet University Peet Hall Renovation

Located on the south side of campus, Peet Hall was built in 1957 and was designated as a women’s residence hall until it went co-ed in 1980. As 2015 begins, the interior lining of this concrete frame and brick shell is being stripped away in the first installment of the Live | Work renovation of Peet Hall. Centrally located on the Gallaudet Mall, the building will soon host critical university faculty and staff offices, and will continue to provide housing for hundreds of university students.
